The October 2004 program featured Sandi Dewald of Streeter ND. Her presentation "Gazing Forward, Glancing Back, Remembering Always" has been published by the Germans from Russia Heritage Collection, NDSU Libraries, Fargo ND.
Sandi is a lifelong resident of Streeter ND and a local historian. She interviewed many of the town's residents, who shared their special memories of living in this German-Russian area. The stories and advice in the book are true-life experiences that everyone can relate with.
