Hidden Self: How Customs Influence Art

Loretta Schantz Bebeau discussed her German Russian childhood and it's influence on her art on October 15, 2005. Loretta grew up in Glen Ullin ND and has always had an interest in art. Over the past 35 years, she's lived in the Twin Cities and has worded primarily with 2-D paper mediums and has had her artwork on exhibit since 1977.

Loretta presented her art via slides and explained what influenced her to create several of her art pieces. She has learned that Germans from Russia have a distinctive approach to materials and patterns.
