Weinachtsfest Sunday, December 2, 2001

Once again the North Star Chapter celebrated the  the holiday season with the foods of our ethnic heritage. The tables laden with everything from A pfelküchel to Zwiebelkuchen traditionally shows the Germans from Russia’s true spirit of Christmas.

In addition to the food, traditional Christmas songs were sung and several stories about how Christmas was celebrated in Russia or the early days on the plains of Dakota.  

In addition, Santa was on hand for photo sessions as well as assisting at handing out "thank you" gifts to many of the volunteers that have helped make the North Star Chapter a success story in 2001.
